As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I can attest to the quality and authenticity of the dishes at The Black Beans Cafe. From traditional Cuban favorites to creative interpretations of Latin American cuisine, each dish is bursting with flavor and made with care. My personal favorite is the Ropa Vieja, a hearty and savory dish that never disappoints. The Black Beans Cafe truly offers a culinary experience that is both memorable and satisfying.

The Cuban coffee is spot on, and the croquettes and picadillo? Absolutely delicious. Everyone's super kind too. Definitely a happy experience!

I lost 45 pounds eating. The chicken breast and vegetables for 4 months. My favorite local food spot. I love it. Try the fish, it is amazing ✌ ????????

Best kept secret in Broward county... If your not eating here you are missing out‼️ Very reasonable prices! Fantastic food and all natural juices! And exceptional service! Believe me... You will NOT regret it!

I have passed this business several times and had been wanting to go there.Today was the day! It's a small, clean and cozy place. There was a lot of traffic (which is usually a good sign). Well, for this place it sure was a great sign. The food, drinks and sauces were really delicious. The server was friendly and fast, and the prices are more than reasonable. Overall I give this place a 5

Fun Spanish atmosphere. Good menu variety... breakfast, lunch special until 4...,open till 10 Pm. I always order the fish soup to GO(I am 57... trying to keep my weight down)...MMMMM....YUMY...Great service.

Do not let the outside of the building fool you. What awaits inside is pure perfection. Hands down best authentic Cuban cuisine I had while visiting South Florida. We got the steak and eggs, and a couple empanadas and the Cuban sandwich. Not only was the food just devine but the staff was very sweet and the kitchen was speedy

This is definitely a place I will visit again. They had such amazing food and even better prices. I chose the steak and eggs with potatoes and a cafe con leche. The food was cooked to perfection and came out so fast. Restaurant was very clean and had a great vibe to it. Outstanding service and such a great location.

I haven't seen pan con bistec this big since prepandemic hialeah days lol The fried plantains didn't make it to the picture because they were soooo good, freshly made with the best garlic sauce on the side, brought me back to abuelas kitchen. The pork chop and beans were definitely someone's abuelas recipe because they had all the sazón I've been missing. Daily lunch deals are available and I can't wait to come back.

Would I recommend? Yes, yes, and yes. I've lived in Hollywood for over 28 years and this little tiny building didn't seem appealing enough for me to ever stop by. My son went to a barber in the area who recommended it and oh my goodness, this is my new favorite spot for the best Latin food. Honestly, it felt like you were visiting friends because they gave plenty of food and the cost was just right. Everything was delicious and tasty. Like I said it is an older building. You could tell it's been there for well over 30 years, nothing fancy on the inside, but the staff was awesome and their English was limited. They did try very hard to speak to us and understand us all I mentioned that because I've been to several Latin restaurants where they seem to get upset when we do not speak any Spanish I will definitely be getting food from here again and again, they did not disappoint and like I said it's like a little hole in the wall, but it's on the corner. There's ample parking. The staff is great and don't drive too fast or you might miss it.

Best days to go any day except wed and Friday. Wed Chef is out Friday Patty lead server is off. I tell you forget about ove rpriced Versailles and Las vegas. The Food is way better than both those places at half the price. Steaks and Lechon amazing. Ham croquets best anywhere. Dont forget to try the MARIQUITAS. awesome
